Brewery and winery tours and tastings are a great social activity for your delegates. Not only do they get to try some of the best beers and wines Ontario has to offer, but they will also learn a few things that might surprise them. Muskoka is already making quite a name for itself in the craft beer and wine industry, with a number of local establishments receiving national recognition.
Muskoka Brewery has won countless awards over the years for their beers, growing from a small start-up with a one-of-a-kind cream ale, to a recently expanded micro-brewery with five beers, a number of specialty beers, and one of Ontario’s most popular IPAs (Mad Tom IPA).
Starting in 2010, Lake of Bays Brewing Co now feature four beers, including a new lager they started brewing in conjunction with the NHL Alumni Association called Top Shelf. They have been recently named one of the top 11 new breweries in Canada according to Huffington Post.
Muskoka Lakes Winery produces some of Ontario’s finest fruit wines, including their signature cranberry wine which has been turning heads (and raking in awards) in the industry since it debuted in 2000. Your group will enjoy their Bog to Bottle tour, which was recently named one of Canada’s signature experiences.
